Prepare for the Fight That Matters

The Forge is an intensive, scenario-based self-defense course designed to prepare you for the gunfight, the legal fight, and the spiritual fight that follow a deadly-force encounter. Led by Scott Willey of Paladin Tower Tactics, this class goes beyond just technical skills—it builds the mindset and principles needed for responsible self-defense.

Hone your skills

Utilizing force-on-force training, students will engage in real-world scenarios with role players and non-lethal projectiles (airsoft) to test their decision-making under stress. This is not just about learning how to fight—it’s about understanding why we fight and ensuring that our actions are driven by love for what is good and a commitment to protecting others from harm.

Class Overview

  • Duration: 8 hours (3 hours classroom instruction, 3 hours force-on-force training)

  • Live Fire: None (strict safety protocols enforced)

  • Instructor: Scott Willey, Paladin Tower Tactics

  • Tuition: Payment required before class (Stripe, check, or cash accepted)

Must be completed by all students.

Curriculum

  • Why We Train – Understanding the deeper purpose of self-defense

  • Fighter Mindset & Wyatt Protocol – Developing the mental readiness for combat

  • Legal Discussion + Q&A – Covering the legal realities of self-defense

  • After the Fight: Emotional Wellness – Preparing for the mental and emotional aftermath

  • Everyday Carry Equipment – Essentials for daily personal defense

  • Force-on-Force Scenarios – Realistic drills using role players and airsoft firearms

💡 Note: The force-on-force portion is high-stress and physically demanding. Students should ensure they are in good health before participating. Not all students will engage in exercises, but all will observe.

What You Need to Bring

  • Mandatory Eye Protection – Wrap-around shooting glasses (reading glasses not sufficient)

  • Appropriate Clothing – No flip-flops or tank tops; wear what you’d typically carry in

  • Notebook & Pen – For taking notes, as desks may not be available

  • Water & Snacks – Bring your own refreshments

  • Everyday Carry Firearm (optional) – Must remain holstered & secured during force-on-force training

  • Belt – Required for provided holsters (compatible with most Glock and S&W M&P models)

Strict Safety Protocols

🚨 Absolutely no live firearms or ammunition are allowed during force-on-force exercises. Any violation will result in immediate dismissal without a refund.
