By registering for and participating in the Bitcoin Alaska conference (“the Event”), you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your attendance at the Event and the services provided by Bitcoin Alaska. Please read them carefully.
1. Registration and Payment
- Eligibility: Attendees must complete the official registration form and provide accurate information. Bitcoin Alaska reserves the right to verify any information provided.
- Payment: All registration fees must be paid in full before access to the Event is granted. Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, and any other methods outlined during registration.
- Confirmation: Upon successful payment, a confirmation email will be sent with event details. If you do not receive this email, please contact us immediately.
2. Event Participation
- Code of Conduct: Attendees are expected to behave professionally and respectfully toward other participants, speakers, sponsors, and staff. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Event Schedule: Bitcoin Alaska reserves the right to modify the Event schedule, sessions, speakers, and content at any time without prior notice. We will make every effort to communicate changes as soon as possible.
- Photography and Recording: The Event may be recorded, photographed, or live-streamed for promotional or documentation purposes. By attending the Event, you consent to the use of your image or likeness in any promotional materials without compensation.
3. Ticket Transfers and Cancellations
- Transfers: Tickets may be transferred to another individual up to 7 days before the Event by notifying us at [email protected].
- Cancellations: Cancellations are subject to the Refund and Return Policy.
- No Refund for Lodging Issues: Failure to secure lodging accommodations does not entitle the attendee to a refund. Attendees are responsible for arranging their own accommodations in Juneau, Alaska.
4. Event Cancellations or Changes
- Cancellation by Organizer: In the event of the Event’s cancellation or rescheduling by the organizers, attendees will be notified as soon as possible. You will have the option to receive a full refund or transfer your registration to the new event date.
- Force Majeure: Bitcoin Alaska shall not be held responsible for delays or cancellations due to events outside of our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, war, acts of terrorism, or public health emergencies.
5. Limitation of Liability
Bitcoin Alaska and its affiliates, sponsors, and partners will not be liable for any damages, loss, or injury arising from your participation in the Event, including but not limited to:
- Personal injury or illness.
- Loss or damage to personal belongings.
- Expenses incurred due to changes, delays, or cancellations.
Attendees participate in all activities at their own risk.
6. Intellectual Property
All content provided during the Event, including but not limited to presentations, workshops, and materials, remains the intellectual property of the presenters or Bitcoin Alaska. Attendees may not reproduce, distribute, or sell any materials without explicit permission.
7. Data Protection
Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By registering for the Event, you consent to the collection and use of your data for event management and communication purposes.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alaska, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
